Download the Audience engagement toolkit "Prove It" from Radio Regen

UNESCO World Radio Day partners, Radio Regen and Community Radio Toolkit have a fantastic resource for Community Radio Stations on Audience Engagement policies.

The toolkit contains step-by-step information about an evaluation technique that will help you to find out more about your listeners and the effectiveness of your station in achieving its goals. It provides information and expertise to measure audience listener figures and to assess the impact that you are having on your community of listeners.

Here's what you need to do to run through the toolkit:

    1. Commit some staff time to the process;

    2. Organise a group of local volunteers to help with a street listener survey;

    3. And – if you can deliver the project in partnership with a community radio station near to you, this will give your results added credibility.

    4. Let us know at UNESCO if you've developed some audience engagement policies through your Radio Health Checkup and we will send you a participation certificate!

    You can read all of the details here, at Community Radio Network.
