Youth's voice starting from the International Charter of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport

The Centre for UNESCO of Turin and the Centre for UNESCO of Florence jointly celebrate, in Turin, World Radio Day 2018 with 60 students, aged from 16 to 18, who already collaborate with the Centres in work-linked training activities. Starting from the principles stated in the International Charter of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport (2015), the students, in groups, will prepare a message for World Radio Day.

After a brief introduction on UNESCO International Days and on World Radio Day 2018, the students, in groups, will read the Sport Charter and, taking into account the specific sub-themes of the Day, will prepare a relevant message, with an effective slogan, using their creativity.

At the end of the activity, each group will present its message that will be broadcasted on the two Centres' social networks. The aim is to raise awareness among younger generations about the values at the heart of World Radio Day and on the importance of sport in daily life, at various levels.
