Tanzanian youth reporters celebrate World Radio Day

Join Mwanza Youth and Children's Network (MYCN) youth reporters in Tanzania celebrate World Radio Day!

The Children's Radio Foundation partners with Mwanza Youth and Children's Network (MYCN) in Mwanza, Tanzania to train young adolescents between 11 and 18 years, and young adults between 18 and 25 years, to produce radio shows at their own community radio stations. To celebrate World Radio Day, the young reporters from all 5 sites in Tanzania, including Kahama, Mbeya, Zanzibar, Dar-es-Salaam, and Mwanza, produced a news article that broadcast this weekend ahead of World Radio Day, and will broadcast on UN Swahili radio.
