Radio is You: Then and Now

Marcey Parker
World Radio Day! To celebrate this dynamic milestone and medium, Marcey Parker will be reflecting with some of the best radio broadcasters in Guyana in a tribute to honor the broadcast-veterans from the 60’s to today, who are still actively involved in radio today.

Radio is still the most dynamic, reactive and engaging medium there is, adapting to 21st century changes and offering new ways to interact and participate; Marcey Parker, will reminisce with young radio announcers who have joined this powerful medium in the 21st century.

This is a wonderful opportunity to listen to fond memories as well as awkward on air moments of these great personalities. In sharing their experiences, and the qualities, seriousness and standard of an exceptional broadcaster/radio announcer.

Meet the skillful, talented, eloquent, enthusiastic, funny and adventurous Dr. Rovin Deodat, Mr. Vic Insanally, Mr. Ron Robinson, Mrs. Rose Benjamin-Noble, Mr. Merrano Issacs, Ms. Nerissa Pearson and Mr. Wendell Badrie on the Voice of Guyana.
